The event page will show the meeting place that is registered by the event organizer. But for some events, the organizer will inform you of the meeting location per email. 

As event organizers are in charge of the location & meeting place of their own events, Peatix is unable to answer questions about the venue or location. Please contact the event organizer directly for event-specific questions.
