Overview
We are updating the Terms of Service to improve how payments and payouts are handled on Peatix and to better reflect current service operations.
Key Updates
- More flexible payment and payout methods, including support for multiple payment providers
- Clarification that payments may be processed in different currencies depending on region or payment method
- Improved transparency around fees, processing, and third-party payment services
- Clarification of Peatix’s role as a platform provider and, where applicable, a payment collection agent on behalf of organizers
- Updates to how we notify users of changes to the Terms of Service, including:
- continued advance notice (at least 30 days) for changes that materially and adversely affect users
- more flexible notice timing for other updates depending on their nature
- immediate effectiveness for certain changes required for legal, security, or operational reasons
General Improvements
We have also made updates to improve clarity, consistency, and alignment with current service functionality.

These updates are intended to improve flexibility and transparency in how payments are handled on Peatix.
